Detroit Tigers Game
As a celebration and thank-you to our wonderful employees, the Tucker Agency hosted our third annual TIGERS GAME NIGHT. Everyone brought a guest and we all had a lot of fun cheering the Detroit Tigers on to victory! Actually, each year we have done this, the Tigers have won so maybe we are a good luck charm. David Price pitched a great game and helped the Tiger’s take over first place in their division. GO TIGERS!

Mission StatementWe, MiMoz Clothez, are committed to clothing the children of families in need in our local community school district, K-12. We entrust the districts family resource center, school principals and building social workers to provide us with the names of children who require assistance. MiMoz Clothez relies on the generosity of individuals and the community to freely donate clothing so that we can continue to fulfill the needs of children. | What does MiMoz Clothez do? There are over 150 homeless families in the Wayne Westland School District. Since the middle of August, MiMoz Clothez has serviced over 175 children in the K-12 district. We collect gently used or new shirts, pants, jeans, hoodies, sweatshirts, coats, shoes and winter boots and deliver these clean clothes to the families working around their transportation needs. Currently, our biggest need is clothing for elementary and middle school children – sizes 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 – boys and girls. Why did you start MiMoz Clothez?Seeing a need in our community to assist less fortunate children, MiMoz Clothez was formed in June of 2012 by two grandmothers, Dolores Hamrick and Tami Phillips. The name MiMoz Clothez was created by using the names that our grandchildren affectionately call us, Mi Mi and Mo Mo. With a burden placed on our hearts, it became our objective to “freely clothe children~one child at a time” concentrating primarily in the Wayne Westland School District. Our sole purpose is to freely clothe, with donations, the children of families in need, pre-school through 12th grade. Where can you learn more about MiMoz Clothez? MiMoz Clothez is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization and you can learn more about them on Facebook. Become a FAN Today! How can you help MiMoz Clothez?Donating clothes is an easy way to help someone less fortunate. Stop by Tucker Agency during the month of November, Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm, and we will deliver the clothes for you. Together we can make a difference in our community this holiday season! |
